During my past two pregnancies, I’ve had an aversion to maternity clothing. I just never saw the importance of it, and most styles seemed so frumpy and mundane. Within the past 4 years, I’ve seen maternity style grow by leaps and bounds, and now I’m a convert. I’ve found some really awesome pieces, that are not only unique but affordable. So, how convenient that I stumbled onto a site called Pink Blush Maternity while pinning on Pinterest. Each and every style was super cute and the prices were within my budget. I contacted them through social media expressing my newfound love for their clothing line, and they offered to send me a few pieces. How fun! Over the next few weeks, I’ll be featuring a few items that were sent to me (and that I purchased) from Pink Blush Maternity. For and foremost, let’s talk peach and patterns.
I immediately gravitated to this long, flowing tunic when I spotted it on the website. I loved the warm color, which looks great with my skin tone. I also loved the pattern. It reminded me so much of a 90s style, Saved By The Bell vibe. *sigh* I miss the 90s. Plus, it has pockets. Pockets! Women love pockets in clothing, especially mothers. Anything with pockets deserves to be on the must-have maternity style list.
The detail on the shoulders was something that I fell in love with, and even my photographer husband agreed that it was pretty unique. The tunic is a bit see-through, so I styled it with a camisole underneath and a pair of comfortable leggings.
You know that I had to up my shoe game with this one, putting the flat sandals away and featuring my favorite espadrilles from JustFab. Since the tunic is pretty much shapeless, I had to keep my lower half as feminine as possible. I think next time I’ll try to wear it with a skinny brown belt and maybe some ankle boots.
I’m so impressed with this tunic. My style is very eclectic, so I never thought I’d find maternity pieces that fit my personality. Well, this one definitely fits and I can’t wait to think of new ways to wear it.
See you next week!
