All things Black Panther have a different meaning now, even purchasing Black Panther face masks to wear in the parks.

Honoring Our King
This post was created before the passing of Chadwick Boseman, and now it feels like it’s even more important to the fandom. My fellow Wakandans, it time to honor our king.
As fans of Black Panther, we’re always looking for ways to celebrate our favorite king and superhero.
This post shares small businesses that are creating cool looking Black Panther face masks. We’re also sharing our favorite Black Panther Minnie ears, because we want to fully represent that T’Challa vibe!

One of the characteristics of the Black Panther mask I wanted for myself was a bold African print. This mask is extremely beautiful, and it has great reviews about the wearability of it.

Some like to keep it simple. My teenager enjoys being able to wear different masks, but he always asks me to keep the print or pattern as simple as possible. If you’re the same way, this mask is perfect for you.

Let’s hear it for the heroines! I have a slight obsession with the Dora Milaje and Okoye. I also have an obsession with Nakia.
When I found this mask featuring Okoye, Nakia and Black Panther, I squealed!

Black Panther Minnie Ears
One of the most beautiful versions of Minnie ears tend to be the ones made with Black Panther in mind.
The creativity of each Etsy seller comes out in the colors and creation of these fun pieces of headgear.
Below are 5 of our favorite Black Panther Minnie Ears we found on Etsy.
In the Disney Moms of Color Facebook Group, DMOC member Marie shared her excitement when she received these fantastic Minnie Ears from Etsy seller LuckyMadz.
And just look at them! The quality of work is phenomenal, and Marie said that she’s in love with them.

One of the coolest ways of creating Minnie ears is to put a different design on each ear. This pair of ears features Black Panther on both ears, but one side shows his illuminated suit.

Light up ears! Do we need to say more? These are on the pricier side, but are worth the investment. Just imagine wearing these around Animal Kingdom Park or Disney California Adventure at nighttime!

And Now For Something Completely Different
Did I mention my slight obsession with Nakia? I did? Oh.
As a fan of the Marvel comics, Nakia has always had a place in my heart. When I had the chance to interview Lupita Nyong’o about her role as Nakia, I pretty much geeked out.
I love Lupita and I love Nakia, so these Nakia inspired ears have my name written all over them.

Not really into the headband style Minnie Ears, but want to represent with a ball cap? These Mickey ears are perfect for you!
These are ears my husband will wear, so I ordered a pair for him to rock during our next trip to Disney World or Disneyland.

My husband and kids are into Marvel— I’m more of a Star Wars and Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter girl, but I LOVED Black Panther, Wakanda, Nakia… I was so sorry to hear about Chadwick Boseman. What a thoughtful, powerful, intelligent actor playing a thoughtful, powerful, intelligent hero. And I’m a knitter— Ravelry (think Facebook for knitters and crocheters) went nuts for Nakia’s knit shawl, and its creator on the costume team is on Ravelry, and he shared the pattern with us for free. It was hilarious— all these people on Ravelry: “Who has seen Black Panther? It’s amazing, and also: NAKIA’S SHAWL, PEOPLE!!!” 🙂
